Welcome to the Elkhart County 4-H Fair!
2018 Theme: Faith, Family, 4-H and Friends, Forming a Better World.
The Elkhart County 4-H Fair is one of the largest 4-H county fairs in the nation. During the 2017 Fair, more than 202,500 people attended the nine-day event. The Fair Board’s goal is not only to be a big event, but to be one of the best.non-fair events or camp at our year-round RV campgrounds. Fair Dates: July 20-28, 2018.
Gate admission is $10.00 per person and includes access to the free grandstand. Children 9 years of age and under are FREE. Onsite Parking is FREE. Grandstand seating is FREE.
No Refunds on gate admission, ride vouchers, clover cash or track seats. Paid admission does NOT guarantee grandstand seating. We are a privately operated facility and the following are NOT permitted on the Fairgrounds: Pets – Weapons – Alcohol – Skateboards – Roller Blades – Metal Detectors – Soliciting
Gate & Concert Tickets are available online: Save $, Skip the Line – Buy Online (Click here – TBA)! Online fair gate admission is only $8.00 ($10.00 at the Gate). All reserved seating for the 2018 concert series are available online (Click here – TBA)
Discount Gate Admission Tickets: Discount gate admission tickets are $8.00 each are available at partnering locations beginning (TBA) through July 28, 2018. Discount $8.00 gate admission tickets are also available online (Click Here) beginning (TBA) through the end of Fair, July 28, 2018.
Concert Reserved Track Seats: A limited number of reserved track seats are available for purchase for each show. Click here for more information.
Discount Carnival Ride Wristband Vouchers: 2018 ride wristband vouchers are $20.00 each and available beginning (TBA) at partnering locations through July 19, 2018. Please note: Discount ride wristband vouchers will not be available after the Fair opens on Friday, July 20, 2018.
Carnival Ride Information: Carnival ride wristbands are $25.00 for designated wristband days. Ride tickets are sold by the sheet of 22 for $25.00 or $1.25 per ticket. Height requirements (2018 height requirements will be posted as soon as we receive it) on every ride. More Carnival Information
Fairgrounds Location: The Fairground Gates 1-7 are located along County Road 34. Fair Address: 17746 County Road 34 Goshen, Indiana 46528.
South Gate (Open Fair Week Only) provides a fast track in and out of the fairgrounds while the Fair is in operation. Please note: the South Gate is not open year-round. South Gate Address: 16715 County Road 36 Goshen, Indiana 46528 Directions
Vehicle Traffic: Vehicle traffic is heaviest during the hours of 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. each day. On Sunday at approximately 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. downtown Goshen and the east entrance to the Fair via County Road 34 will be closed to vehicle traffic due to the parade.
General Parking & Tram Service: Enter at Gate 7 or the South Gate. Parking & Trams on the fairgrounds are free. Trams operate daily, 8 am – 11 pm, in the east parking area.
Handicap Parking & Wheelchair Rental: Handicap parking is available at Gate 2 and Gate 7. Handicap permit must be displayed. Wheelchair rental is located near the Fair Office.
Bicycle & Motorcycle Parking: Bicycle and motorcycle parking are located near Gate 2. Bike Trail Map (Click Here – TBA)
Fair Lunch Passes: Fair lunch passes are available weekdays 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Lunch parking is between Gates 2 & 3 on the grass lot. Passes are available at the fair office with a $10.00 deposit. Enter at the Main Gate. Return to the Fair Office by 2 p.m. for a full refund of the $10.00 deposit.
Safety Reminder: Animals have different bacteria than humans. Please take precautions.
- Avoid eating and drinking in barns.
- Place pacifiers, bottles and ‘sippy’ cups in diaper bags before entering livestock areas.
- Wash hands thoroughly upon exiting.
Smoking Areas: For guests’ safety, we have designated smoking areas on the grounds. Please refer to the map (Click Here- TBA) for locations.
